Farm-to-Table Fare at Winter Garden Festival

Orlando -- Orlando suburb Winter Garden will host a Health & Harvest farm-to-table dining event at its open-air downtown pavilion on Saturday, October 29. Chefs from West Orange County neighborhoods will prepare the five-course feast, which will be served with wine plus beers from the local Crooked Can brewery. Proceeds will benefit the Central Florida YMCA and the Second Harvest Food Bank. $135. Tickets

Hors d'oeuvres - Second Harvest Catering For Good Chef Jill Holland -- Three-bean "meat" ball on a nest of spaghetti squash, and housemade cheese with cranberry chutney and walnuts

Amuse bouche - Seasons 52 Executive Chef James Messinger - Raised pink deviled farm eggs with crispy applewood bacon

Salad course - Rusteak Chef/Owners Brian Buttner and Jonathan Canonaco - Phyllo-parm sphere, smoked brie and grape confit, autumn greens and toasted pumpkin seeds with a melted water cracker and warm bacon dressing

Starter course - The Chef's Table at the Edgewater Chef-Owner Kevin Tarter - Candied collard greens and deviled farm eggs

Main course - Market to Table Chef-Owner Ryan Freelove - Lake Meadow Naturals farm chicken with sweet potato puree, roasted pumpkin and thyme jus

Dessert - Seasons 52 Executive Chef James Messinger - Pumpkin pie mini indulgence

Beer - Crooked Can Brewing Company
