Orlando – Hemingway’s Restaurant has long had a solid local following for its crab cakes, seafood and Key West feel. Now the restaurant in the Hyatt Grand Cypress is updated in a big way. The dining room is bright and open, and the menu – including the classic favorites – now has exotic flavors. Complementing the core Spanish, Cuban and Key West ingredients are interrupters like mustard seed, beet juice, orange-fennel butter and smoked grapefruit aioli. It’s clear the chefs are having a blast, and the food reflects their passion. Below are pictures of some of the plates we tasted during a recent media dinner. It’s definitely time for locals to visit again.
