Orlando – The sports shtick continues in the Orlando community of Lake Nona, where a new XL Soccer World is under construction. The $8 million, 50,000-square-foot facility will open in Summer 2020 with two 6v6 4G boarded turf fields and two multi-surface fields. They’ll be available for Futsal, lacrosse, flag football and volleyball as well as soccer. It will also have a pub that airs games on large TVs. The facility will be the 10th XL in the country. Another Orlando unit is in Fairview Shores near the intersection of I-4 and Lee Road.
