Orlando—The Portillo’s fast food chain is bringing its Chicago-style hot dogs to Orlando. The restaurants also serve burgers, Italian beef sandwiches, ribs, pasta and a proprietary chocolate cake. The new unit’s interior is upscale with a rock ‘n’ roll theme including a massive guitar on the ceiling; its strings are LED lights that will seemingly play along with background music. When this store opens, probably on March 16, 2021, it will also have a drive-thru window and curbside service.
Portillo’s was founded in 1963 and today has 66 units, with plans to add more Florida restaurants quickly.
