Orlando – Summer is barbecue season, and locally based barbecue chain 4 Rivers Smokehouse, along with its Sweet Shop sidekick, is going all in with seasonal Smokehouse Summer specials and giveaways. 

Smokehouse Barbacoa Bowls – For summer only,  you can order the bowls brisket barbacoa, Nana's pork sofrito, chicken tinga, and black bean with cilantro rice.

Sweet Shop Desserts – In June, 4 Rivers will sell a Mountain Dew and Doritos cupcake. In July, it's a Coca-Cola and potato chip cupcake.

Social media prizes – Share photos of your Smokehouse Summer purchases and tag them #4RSmokehouseSummer on social media, and you may win a prize like a beach tote or a spice rub.

Father's Day special – On the Friday and Saturday before Father's Day (June 15-16), each restaurant will have activities like cookie decorating kits and gift ideas like Pitmaster Kits. Starting June 1, kids will receive a free A Date with Dad coloring project to share their their papas.

Teacher discounts – Educates receive a 10 percent discount all summer. 

Backpack drive – Each 4 Rivers Smokehouse will host a backpack drive before school resumes; dates haven't yet been announced. Those who bring a backpack filled with school suppliers will receive a free sandwich.

Cooking demonstrations – These will take place around town all summer. The first will be on June 9 at the Ace Hardware at 3755 Alafaya Trail from 11am to 3pm.
