Orlando – Get into the holiday spirit during Sock it to Cancer on Friday evening, December 6th. Teams from more than 30 Orlando-area non-profits will decorate Christmas trees. Contests and caroling will be ongoing. Plus, participants are encouraged to bring five pairs of colorful socks, which will be donated to neighbors fighting cancer. Your entry fee will benefit The Adam Michael Rosen Foundation, which creates grants for cancer research, and to assist families affected by cancer with services like helping get care for pets. The foundation is named for the son of philanthropist Harris Rosen, who owns the hotel in which the event will be held; Adam died of brain cancer in his 20s.
