Orlando – While we’ll always mourn the restaurant Luma on Park, we are quite excited to welcome its replacement on Park Avenue, AVA MediterrAegean. An offshoot of the popular Miami spot MILA MediterrAsian, this newcomer to Winter Park will have the kind of big-budget decor that makes dining out a big-deal experience. The photo shown here gives you an idea of how the space will be transformed into a traditional-+-modern backdrop for the Mediterranean flavors. The space housed five retail stores in the original 1886 building, then a bank in a 1950 structure, and another bank in the 1971 edifice. That final bank’s secluded downstairs Federal Reserve Depository will be a private dining area and/or private club for AVA. AVA MediterrAegean will also have bar and lounge seating.
