Orlando -- Author and historian Dr. Elizabeth Cobbs will be the keynotes speaker of the United Way Women United Luncheon. This annual gathering is perhaps the networking event for Orlando's females. Professionals, as well as others eager to learn, gather for an informative speech and to meet or re-meet one another while learning about the ways United Way of Central Florida helps residents in need.
Speaker Elizabeth Cobbs is the author of The Hello Girls, about pioneering U.S. Arm women during World War I. She has written both fiction and nonfiction books. Her most recent is The Hamilton Affair.
