Orlando—Like its fancy sister Soseki, Taglish is owned by savvy Filipino-Americans. Now the culinary go-getters are offering a third way to eat interesting foods: Kamayan, a weekly pop-up dinner. It’s also available as a private lunch or dinner for groups of six or more people.
The page to buy tickets says this:
"Set in our Taglish UCF location, guests will dine communally over banana leaves. This informal, communal dining experience is meant to be a shared experience in which guests will be encouraged to dine in the traditional way with their hands.
But utensils will also be available upon request.
The chefs will prepare all the food in the center of the table all at once as guests can mix and match throughout their experience.
At $45 per person, that sounds like a great deal to me, especially since Chef Mike Collantes and his team have proved their kitchen skills without a doubt. Click here to reserve your spot.
