Orlando — The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic has long been a quiet(er) event held around the time of Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival. It will be back this fall, once again featuring the foods of the two sister hotels, served at 20 stations, plus samples of 100 beverages. Held outdoors on two consecutive weekend nights, the event also involves themed areas such as a bubble lounge, China Town and a beer garden. Tickets are $165 per person, which covers all tax and tips, or $580 and up including lodging.
Here are sneak peeks of three menu items:
Hand-crafted smoked pork belly, apple butter-bourbon barbeque, buttered grits, shaved radish, roasted chestnut puree served by Smokin’ D’s BBQ
Roasted Linz heritage black angus beef tenderloin, mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, hollandaise sauce served by Shula’s Steak House
Kimonos Roll: ahi tuna, yellowtail, sustainable salmon, wasabi mayonnaise served by Kimonos
