My Thanksgiving hostess brings in a complete meal, from appetizer to pies, from Boston Market. Don't judge. Plenty of people open their homes for celebration but don't want to cook. Whole Foods offers whole meals, and a la carte dishes, for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Hanukkah.
Whole Foods isn't the only one. A growing list on my own website shows other Orlando restaurants and caterers that will hand you a holiday meal to go. Whole Foods, however, invited a bunch of local writers to sample menu highlights, so I'm sharing those here.
I can't link you to the entire menu page because you'll need to put in your zip code to reach it, so above is a screen shot showing some of Whole Foods' Thanksgiving offerings. Below are some of my favorites.

I defy you to make a sweet potato or squash dish better than this cinnamon-dusted one with candied pecans. That, and the cheese starter pictured below, were phenomenal. As always, I can not tell you why some of the photos are tilted. They're correct within WordPress.
Here are a few other highlights.
On our way out, the kind folks at Whole Foods gave us a bag filled with private label gift items. It seems Whole Foods has quite the portfolio of house-brand goodies.
Fun, right? For gifts, and raw and prepared foods, consider Whole Foods for the holidays.
