Orlando—In ultra-exciting news, we’re announcing that Steinmetz Hall has opened at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. It’s the third and final indoor performance venue at this state-of-the-art facility, designed to have perfect acoustics, especially for microphone- and speaker-free events such as orchestra performances. Among the design elements leading to the N1 sound rating are a concrete frame and foundation, 400+ isolation rubber pads and an air gap. By moving around a million-dollar wall, the venue can be set up as a symphony concert hall, proscenium theater or intimate recital hall. Click here regularly to read about upcoming performances. For winter-spring 2022, that list includes the opera Rigoletto and Postmodern Jukebox.
Here are more shows coming up at the three theaters, including Steinmetz Hall, of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. This is just a sampling. There’s a whole lot more. Visit the website for the full calendar. We’re talking about Gladys Knight, Ain’t Too Proud, Disney’s Frozen, ABBA The Concert, The Great Gatsby, Melissa Etheridge, Shen Yun, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix™ in Concert … the list goes on.
